The Spartan South Midlands League is a senior non-league competition at Step 5-6 of the English football pyramid, covering clubs across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and neighbouring counties. Aylesbury Vale Dynamos FC plays in its Premier Division, the league's top tier.
Aylesbury Vale Dynamos joined the Spartan South Midlands League in 2000. The club was promoted as far as the Southern League Division One Central in 2009-10 before returning to the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division in 2018-19, where it has played since.
